Puntzi has been a popular lake for fishing for more than 50 years, offering a healthy stock of Rainbow trout and Kokanee (land-lock salmon). The Kokanee often weigh in over two pounds, sometimes over three! Both species respond well to gang trolls with a bait trailer, ford fenders, or attractor lure. Although May and June are the prime months for fishing, the lake produces well through October.

Due to our central location in the Chilcotin, we are ideally situated for many day trips to other fishing lakes. Additionally, Puntzi Lake is a birdwatcher's paradise. You can expect to see bald eagles, blue birds, hummingbirds, loons, hawks, owls, woodpeckers, white pelicans and osprey just to name a few.

Boats
14-foot Lund boats with 7.5 Honda motors deliver safe and reliable service for our customers. Life jackets, landing nets and a full tank of fuel are provided at $49 per day or $12.50 per hour. 16-foot Frontiersman canoes are also available for $25 per day or $8 per hour.
